Company History
Unlike other significant corporate investments, information technology
(IT) projects are not protected by standard risk management techniques,
such as project insurance. And failed IT projects cost companies billions
of dollars annually.
Mort Goldman and Dan Brennan believed there was a much-needed and pragmatic
solution that would better empower financial and technology officers
to protect their strategic investments in technology. With more than
40 years of experience delivering IT solutions for Fortune 1000 companies,
they founded Gladwyne Software Suretynow Fortera. Their vision
of making software consultants accountable for their technology implementations
through systematic IT risk management services and project insurance
marked a turning point in the tech-buying arena.
